I'm running out of ideas, and I need to do those assignments soon. NAT mode works fine, but I need it to be a bridged connection. However, internet didn't work most of the time (sometimes I could open google, but couldn't search anything). After that, I tried to start the VM with both Bridged Adapter and Host-Only modes, and I was able to connect to the network and get an IP. I also tried to manually create a bridge between my real internet adapter and the Host Only VB adapter. Temporary disabled my Antivirus (Avast Free). Wrote some commands I found on internet at the guest OS, nothing changed. The bridge drivers seem to be installed, they are shown in the element list of my real internet adapter (Wifi). None of my VM's work with bridged adapter. Created a new VM with a different disk, but I couldn't connect even during installation. It hanged at "Wired Connecting" and after a while it would turn off. Actually, it couldn't connect to the network at all. After updating, I managed to start the virtual machine, but I couldn't connect to internet. There was an update for VMVB, so I downloaded it. However, a couple of weeks ago I tried to start the VM and it showed an error about the adapter, that it couldn't be reached or something like that (I can't remember the exact message). The network was configured with Bridged Adapter. Some time ago I installed it on my Windows 7 host, and created a virtual machine with Kali Linux as guest (it's for a college assignment).
